Just like the theater, even the park here has its scenes and changes of scenes. But more to the point, it has a backstage, where all work you don’t see goes on. This area of the park near the old caretaker’s lodge was fully renovated in 2024. Today it is a multi-purpose area where the park staff prepare and organize their work, hidden away from sight.
In landscape gardens, the human hand is present but never seen. Just like a magician’s trick.
But then, as with every work of magic, when revealed it never turns out to be just a trick.
